I received compensation and products for this post from readers.com. All opinions are my own.
It’s been an ongoing story in my life since I was sixteen, when I was prescribed my first pair of readers.
“Where are my glasses?”
“Have you seen my glasses?”
“Did I leave my glasses here?”
Every day. Without fail. At some point or another I am searching for my reading glasses.
When I reached a certain age, my reading glasses were augmented by progressive lenses, allowing me to see the calorie count on food labels and the price tags on shoes while still being able to see in the distance. I wear my progressives, but only when I’m out. At home, I’m all about my readers.
Readers.com sent me a box full of cute and comfortable glasses to try on and keep, and they are great. See for yourself:
I told my husband I wanted some half-lenses so I could look up and see the world while I was working or reading (top left), but he thinks they make me look like an old lady. That may be true, but I like them anyway. It’s a pain to be constantly putting my glasses and taking them off – and then, of course, I forget where I left them and we are back to those daily questions again.
I also love the sunglass style readers for sitting outside!
I’ll keep my readers from readers.com in all the places I usually sit to work, to read or to flip through magazines.
